TNTT stands Thieu Nhi Thanh The. It is a Vietnamese Youth Movement done at vietnamese churches. This is something I am apart every since I was little. In TNTT there are 4 different color scarfs for the students. If the students want to continue in TNTT, there are more scarf colors. The green scarf or Au Nhi are the youngest group starting from 1st grade to 4th grade. The blue scarf or Theiu Nhi are kids from 5th grade to 7th grade. The yellow scarf or Nghia Si are teenagers from the grade 8th - 10th. Finally there are brown scarf or Hiep Si which are students who have recieved conformation and want to continue in TNTT.
We have field day, journey of faith, camp, praise and worship, vacation bible school, fall festival, and the list can go on and on. We have many events and anyone can come. You don't have to be religious. Even though we have tons of fun, we never forget why we do it. It is for God and everything we do it is for him. Our goal is spread the word of God. I'm not here to convert you. I'm just here to tell you some fun things we do and will be posting lots of pictures from the many events we do.
Some of the events we do in detail
Fall Festival: Every year at my church, we have our annual fall festival. At the festival we have games, Miss Teen Pageant, Mr. Elegance Pageant, perfromances such as singers and dancers, bingo, a lottery to win a car, food, and so much more. It is one of my favorite thing to volunteer and help out at.
Camp: Every year at my church, we have our annual Sa Mac Huong Tam Camp. We have many activities such as journey of faith where we get a map and have to figure out riddles to go to each station. There is also a competition between the different color scarfs for the flag. We also have a cooking competition and usually have some type of entertainment such as a play, a dance, or praise and worship.
Vacation Bible School: We have vacation bible school every year for one week in July. This is where students from the age 14-18 volunteer to be team leaders or station leaders for the younger kids who will attend vacation bible school. There are different stations to learn about the bible verse and theme for that day; everyday is different. Every year we have a different theme and songs. The kids and volunteers love to jam out to the songs.
